Dr. Matt Skillen is the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at McPherson College. Previously, Matt held several roles at Elizabethtown College where he worked for fourteen years. Roles at Elizabethtown included: Ralph W. Schlosser Professor of English, Director of English Secondary Education, Department Chair for both the English and Communications Departments, Founding Director of the Etown Teaching and Learning Design Studio, and Dean of Faculty and Associate Provost for Student Learning. Prior to his time at Elizabethtown College, Matt served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University and as a classroom teacher for USD 266 Maize, KS.
